Aloha OWA members,
With outdoor weddings approved (hooray!), the Mayor’s office has tasked us with the responsibility of creating “Best Practices during COVID-19” for our industry. We’ve worked hard to put these together, and have reviewed them with multiple businesses within our industry. We’re proud to officially release OWA’s COVID-19 Guidelines for the Wedding Industry in Honolulu.
These guidelines are currently based on Mayor Blangiardi’s most recent Emergency Order (2021-04), are meant to be guidelines and best practices, not mandatory rules. Each commercial business operating in the wedding industry should be following their own rules and regulations, based on your business and orders set forth by the CDC, State of Hawaii, and City and County of Honolulu. Our guidelines are here to help you best navigate those rules.
This document will remain fluid, and will be revised as the Mayor’s Order is revised. Click on the link below to view the current version of the guidelines.
